Our goal in the NMHS math department is to provide students with the tools needed to succeed in their high school math courses as well as post-secondary education. Students learn key mathematical concepts, using inquiry-based and collaborative techniques. They are provided with opportunities to develop their technological, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills by applying the content. Additionally, the material is taught in a real-world context so students understand the meaning and importance of the content.
We strive to provide a solid foundation in mathematics to our students and are happy to provide the necessary support for them to succeed.
